The whole little speakers and subs thing was done to save space, not
because it was best. I'm not a fan of subs. We can localize distant
thunder, so relegating those sounds to mono is not right.
I have been eyeing the Tannoy offerings, coax speakers are something I
understand. The Tannoy ellipse 10 would maybe do, but they deliberately
incorporate a low frequency killer in it complete with flashing warning
lights. Worries me that they are not confident in the survivability of
their speakers playing infrasound.
