"Full range" (and that's a term subject to interpretation) monitors
are going to be very large. If you want to go below, say, 40 Hz, you
either need monster monitors or a big subwoofer or two. With a sub
want to use an adjustable electronic crossover so you can set a
crossover frequency lower than the 80 or 120 Hz used for home theater
subs. And rent a analyzer so you can experiment with positioning and
levels. The idea is just to extend the monitors at the bottom.
