yes, I was aware that the R-26 had the same pre-amps as the R-44. Still testing
to work out if they sound the same though :)
DPA adaptor - thats interesting. The ones I have just say DAD6001 on them &
they are a couple of years old so I probably have the early ones. I'll mention
this to DPA & see if they can make any comment on whether either the new or the
older one would make any difference.
