A little off topic, but I remember the day not too long ago, when we had such
few options digitally that we were actually discussing the MAudio Microtrack
and it's display overlapping the wiring for the XLR's causing it's own sound
ecosystem ^__~. I believe the noise floor of the preamps of that model left
Nature Recordist pretty non-plussed as well. It is very gratifying to see so
many more options and so many ways to capture, apply and distribute.
