Dale, You don't need a new digital recorder to digitise analogue recordings as you can record analogue directly on your computer, but you may need to upgrade your computer sound card to something like an Audigy USB. The playback quality is limited to what is available from the casette tape, but it can be cleaned up digitally. I doubt if you would hear any deterioration with recording off your sound card at 44.1ksps at 16 bits, but the Audigy SE goes up to 96ksps at 24 bits which you won't need.
