Yes, but the AC power supply (complete with afterthough ferrite choke
in addition to the built-in one at the other end of the cable), was
somewhere else when I wanted to copy three short files.  Powering
was a design decision ... they could have made it USB bus powered,
but they'd still be debugging it now and the Marantz would come out.

I do have to give it marks for high-speed USB.  It definitely takes
a lot longer to copy files on an older USB machine.

Oh, and I tried switching off the power switch while recording,
and also pulling the battery.  Got zero length files, so I didn't
record long enough for it to dump the buffer to flash, or maybe
it just doesn't finish (TOC) until it goes through a stop cycle.
I've had that problem with the Alesis Masterlink when AC failed.
