I'd been looking all over at M/S decoders, contemplating the price. I
was doing something else in Spark XL and decided to set it's prefs to
load Peak's filter set as well as it's own. All these filters I'd not
noticed before turned up. The price is certainly right. They don't seem
to say much in Peak's documentation about them though the promo stuff
mentions 25 VST effects free.

The FX Machine in Spark XL will load a array of filters to run
simultaneously, including this one of course. I especially like to load
the string of all filtration I'm doing and tack on Spark Sonograph into
the last box. Then I can adjust everything while both listening and
checking the sonogram before applying it all. This does sometimes take
my 400mHz G4 right down to it's knees, but my son's dual 1GHz G4 is much
harder to saturate. I have run as many as a dozen filtration steps plus
the sonogram simultaneously in realtime on my G4. It's processor is
really occupied doing that.

Vbox is Bia's version of FX Machine. I've not tried it yet. A SE version
is included in Peak 3.

Here's the link to the original article I got that from:
http://www.sonicsense.com/calpage.htm

Seemed to make sense to me.

I'm not sure you would have to change the limiter. You are primarily
setting the recorder up as a slave unit with best, safe dynamic range,
then just using the MP-2 as the controlling device, running it normally.
It's all around not having to tinker with too much while recording.
