It is usally the case in surveys that the unhappy ones are far more likely
to email than happy ones. This is why most review sites for products etc
tend to give a bad impression -most people far more likely to write a
negative review if unhappy than bother to write a positive review if happy.
So on this basis I would expect there to be many people saying they are
unhappy with BA and only a few saying they are happy - but it seems the
other way around!
On the other hand of course there is always a resistance to change I guess!
As for it being only a few replies - seems to me that it has attracted a lot
of discussion compared to most BA topics.
The earlier suggestion on birding sites suggested that it would make more
sense if people used the various birdlines as a means for reporting rarities
and kept BA for general birding discussions, RFIs, trip reports etc. I
personally think that is a good idea but I guess it will take a long time to
change the way people think
