Google Groups does index this list already, but you can't post there as you
can with other Usenet newsgroups. I am active on a couple of newsgroups &
like the format but again, I've been there for 10 years & am used to it; not
so used to the Web 2.0 social networking fora.
Basically they're all much the same and when you change you stand to lose some people which you have to weigh against what you'll gain. My judgement is at the moment this group stands to lose more by changing than it could gain. In a year or 3 that may well be different... Ross Macfarlane |
