What I do see when pppd starts up is 

tsuart:change_speed, port 0: 115200 bad

I don't see that with the other two ports.

Hmm, that's very odd. I'm not too familiar with the low-level details 
of pppd to suggest anything that might be wrong, but I would suggest 
looking at which might be different between the ports that are working 
and the port that isn't. For example, the TS-UART port won't have some 
of the flow control signals the 16550 UART will, and won't have the FIFO 
depth either. You might need to play around with pppd parameters to 
accomodate these differences. Any you getting any log or error messages 
that might be helpful or does it just silently fail? (I believe there 
are also pppd options to be more verbose in log g ing what it is doing.)
