Scott,
Looks like Snow Leopard 10.6 is still available to purchase as a disc
from the Apple Store in Australia ($39). If users need it before
they can upgrade to the even later versions, then Apple would be
shooting themselves in the foot if Snow Leopard suddenly became
unavailable?

I'm sure that will happen to me too! Which is why I hesitate to
upgrade. I checked out SuperDuper, might be OK, thanks for the tip. =
How on earth do Apple expect upgrade novices to handle all this
technical stuff? We are all expected just to somehow 'know' how and
what to do. It is a nightmare and very time consuming too. And I
was so happy with 10.4 and my lovely iMac, sigh.
