Therefore its an Intel based imac. Should work ok with Lion
and the upcoming 10.8. Seems with each incremental improvement
something is removed that I relied on, audio drivers dont work and
take ages for the manufacture to update if at all. (EMU)
First thing to do is update the ram to at least 4GB (2x2GB sticks)
in the slot at the bottom of the machine.
Use SuperDuper to make a bootable image to an external drive
and install 10.7.x or 10.8 when it comes out. If its horrible
boot from the external drive or restore it to the internal drive.
