Ive done some very wild running around with my 722 and never had a glitch.
I once had a glitch when it was running static but I had it on the same
table on which I also foolishly placed my didgeridoo. That it didn't like.
Can't remember exactly how it presented that behaviour but I believed it
just stopped recording.
The 722 has got a fairly large buffer that it records to before writing to
disc. I havent seen any official documents on it but since its got a maximu=
m
of 10 seconds pre-record in 24/48 (iirc) then that is
48000x24 =3D 1152000 bits per seconds / 8 =3D 144000 =3D 144 kB that is mo=
no so
x2 =3D roughly 300 kB * 10 =3D 3 megs. Hhhm not a lot really huh :) Anyways=
,
I'll venture a guess to say that there is a protection mechanism for bumps
and stuff.
Cheerio
