Totally interesting stuff lads, good topic.
Using these in the summer in the Arctic are exactly what the doctor ordered=
,
you have 24 hours daylight and enough time to keep your juice topped up.

  To bring this all into perspective, my "kit" would be a Telinga stereo
mic, a Senn. Me 67, 64, a Telinga EM-23,a Portadisc recorder, a couple of
Sony minidisc recorders (older), an MP2 pre, a Telinga dish and the
converter with charger and adapter noted. All fits in or on a medium size
PortaBrace bag with exception of the panels and dish, including some of the
moderate length cables.
