My MAHA came with a cigarette adapter cord for its 12 VDC input
(though the manual says 13.5 volts max, the cord may have some
protection).  Have you tried connecting the solar charger to your
cigarette adapter cord and then into MAHA?  Looks like the panel
would generate enough output in strong sunlight. You've found a
clever way to charge about anything-- like 7.2 LiONs and packs up to
12volts.  I hear you about the bad back. I was thinking one might be
able to use a smaller variety lead acid in base camp as a
reservoir/buffer because the MAHA would use only 400-800mah of the
~1300mah your 20 watt solar panel can put out. Thanks for locating
the eBay link. Much more doable at that cost. Two, 20 watt units
would rapid charging my high capacity 12 volt packs. Rob D
