ICP, manufacturer of the flexible solar panels previously mentioned, has ceased production of these models. The source on eBay seems to be the end of the line. A second company manufacturing flexible solar panels is Iowa Thin Flim Technologies. They describe the panels at this web site: http://www.powerfilmsolar.com/ In addition to panels flexible enough to roll up, Power Film Solar has a foldable product composed of small sections of solar panel sewn into a fabric backing and wired together like one big panel. The prices I have found online for the Power Film Solar products are a lot higher than the eBay source described earlier. It might be worth it to buy a product that has a warranty from a company that is still making the panels. --oryoki ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
