I'm nit-picking, but good engineering requires that. Rob Danielson, you wro= te, >I'm all ready to accept that self-noise for the MD consumer mic pres >is <13dBA, believe me! You can't describe mic preamp noise as related to a sound pressure level. Different mics produce different voltages for the same SPL. Mic preamp noise is commonly specified as Equivalent Input Noise (EIN).
