OK, I think everyone take a breather....

The way I see it, there are mostly two camps on this list:

People like me, who may or may not be really good at this embedded
stuff, but who are fairly knowledgeable about *nix in general and
linux in particular, and have some experience in developing apps.
I've been involved in the community for a while, and know pretty much
what to do and how to do it. Add to that the fact that I can
read/write english as well as a native speaker, and am functional in
several other languages, I have pretty broad resources available on
the web.

The other people I see coming here are completely new to this embedded
thing and *nix, and occasionally new to programming. It sounds like
some of them get handed a TS7xx0 board, pointed at this list, and
told, "Make it work". It's an awfully steep learning curve,
especially if you're new to the job, programming, open source, not
entirely fluent in English, and have a boss breathing down your neck.

So... Folks, let's all cut each other some slack. Yes, there's
newbie noise on the list. But few of us were born with a Google
search bar embedded in our forehead, ok? I don't mind the noise.
Heck, 'maybe I need the noise'. (Apologies to Steven Jesse Bernstein*).
