Well, they sort of work, with some extra love -- I still find it
disturbing that they won't work out of the box. What I really do not
understand is why the heck do we have an 'official'
tskernelmodules-2.4.26-ts11 tarball containing an sdcard.o driver
weighting around 15K and then at some random point I find another such
sdcard.o driver for ts11 going up to 20K hidden in some huge tarball
at the same server, which, quite interestingly, happens to work
slightly better (at least for me). I really can't see why nobody at
TS cared to update the modules tarball.

Such a question does not really belong to this list. Please do your
homework at least a little bit better. I've been able to find pretty
decent definitions of kernel and user space, even at the Wikipedia and
in several languages, with the very first links googling for 'kernel
space'.

I think you're missing the point. It's not about asking noobish
questions, but about going way too much offtopic. I don't know what is
what you asked before, but the example certainly doesn't have much to
do with ts-7xxx.
