Your last comment here really what my post was about.
What you are saying is: "If you aint gonna help ME, get out of my
way". That is not what good community is about.
My comment was aimed at helping _the community_ on this list remain
focused and not become a general linux chat forum. That is not it's
purpose. There are emmense resources for that, that will be of far
more help to you, it should not be duplicated here.

If that is your total effort in answering your own question this
again reflects what I wanted to say. It's a rather selfish approach:
I can't be bothered to look so I'll just post, maybe someone will
tell me. Other posts indicate a wealth of info is readily available.
I picked your comment as an example , I was not targeting you in
particular, that's why I quoted you anonymously. Please don't take it
personally. There was a majority of traffic on the list that was
frankly unrelated problems that did not belong here.
Well you've had plenty of pointers where to find the info you asked
about on the web so I think your question is covered but please be
aware that working on embedded systems does require a good level of
understanding of the operating system being used. It is not really a
good place to start if all you've done before is install Ubuntu or
Fedora from a CD.
Please dont regard any of this as acrimonious. As you can see there
are plenty of competant and helpful TS users following this list.
Let's just try to remember this is a developers list and keep posts
on topic.
Many thanks for all the replies.
best regards to all.
