Yan:
I have been thinking about the open source jtag-tools.
It sounds very interesting to me.
I have priced certain jtag-ICE and note that they range in price from
around $200 to $900. (on ebay). The tools list the CPU's they are
capable of performing with.
So here is my comment/question...
******
If someone can come up with an open source sofware solution(jtag ICE)
that will work with the ts7xxx series...how much would it cost?
I personally do not see any problem in "rigging" up a hardware jtag
cable and extending the pins of the ts7xxx- based on TS
website(embedded.com) and this forums discussion.
So, if you know someone who is willing/able to do this and letting
it go open source then let me know how much it would cost and I would
STRONGLY consider funding it.
Also, if someone thinks this is not a good idea I would appreciate the
comments also.
Note, if I was a better coder this would be something that would
interest me. Since I am not, I am asking for help and feel this is one
way I may be able to help contribute to the open source community.
