OK, I should RTFM....

Page 30 of the 7200 manual talks about the JTAG header....

So if you really want to try reviving this board, you can download the
jtag debrick utiltity here: http://www.seiner.com/debrick-4_6.tar.bz2
--- this is *NOT FOR THE TS-7xx0 BOARDS*.  It will not work out of the
box; you will have to add the correct configuration for the TS-7xx0
CPU and flash or use the appropriate options.  I did not write this
wonderful piece of software; I just incorporated a handful of patches
floating around and created a new tarball.

I use an unbuffered cable described here:
<http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Customizing/Hardware/JTAG_Cable>
.  I made mine 6" long, and haven't had any trouble reflashing boards
with it provided the board hardware was known....

I haven't looked at the board, but even if the JTAG header is a
'bed-of-nails' surface mount connections, soldering 5 wires to them is
tricky but not hard.
