I'm not able to answer that from a scientific perspective (maybe David or R=
aimund) but that is the type of gear used by top notch professionals, and s=
o whatever implications regarding the conversions shouldn't affect negative=
ly the expected results.

I was thinking of leaving the recorder with the mics, and just transmitting=
the monitoring output. Signal quality wouldn't be so important that way.
