thanks to you all. I ordered the Olympus LS-10S

it's the only one available, but it's on sale for $150 today. yea!
I could find the older ones, but only for much higher price.

I've missed holding that recorder since I tried it in 2010.

Olympus said there was no difference between the LS-10S and LS-10 except th=
e absence of Cu Base and presence of ability to use USB mic from computer. =
In other words, all reports that there are improvement in the pre amp must =
be bogus.
