I had as first recorder LS 10, bought merely for curiosity an LS 11, and fo= und to my surprise a clear difference in sound quality. The LS 11 just "sounded" b= etter and had better preamps. Maybe there's individual qualities between these, don't know, and can't tes= t it anymore as I gave the LS 10 away. Maybe I had a "bad" LS 10. The LS 100 is otherwise nice ( time and volume in same window, comp. to PMD 661) but has a lot of small buttons that makes it hard to use outdoors in harsher conditions. Weather sealing could also be better; once it stoppe= d recording fora few drops of water, but survived however when I let it dry. Jan, Makholma Finland |
