I agree with Dan. I have two long cables made with Star Quad for various Au=

Technica X/Y mics and I am happy with the results.

I made them myself using Neutirk connectors. Don't skimp on these!

BTW, I looked for some commercially made single-jacket stereo cables and fo=

that nearly all of them used the Star Quad as stereo cable. Audio Technica=

supplied some kind of cable that looks like two Siamese cables attached sid=
e by
side so that each signal pair has its own shield, but I don't know of a sup=
plier
for this stuff.
