I've decided against a single run of StarQuad and am going to buy two longe=
r runs of regular mic cable. The input here on the forum has cemented this =
decision.
Thanks everybody for your input.

If it's been recently parked, you'll be serenaded by the assorted noises a =
car makes when it's cooling down. If it starts to rain, you'll hear rain on=
metal and glass in addition to more natural sounds. Longer cables will let=
you position the mikes farther from the car's noises.
