Two separate cables are nice because there may be points when you want to h=
ave the two mics fairly far apart and if they are jointed together, that's =
not very possible.
However, I think a quality pair of cables is a good investment. The recorde=
r you have is almost two grand, the mics are $500 or so. Don't let the weak=
link be the cables, ;)
