Yep, this might be hard to understand for those of us who live in densely p= opulated or windy regions. When I first visited the deserts of Utah 20 year= s ago, I was really surprised how quiet nature can be. Later on I also expe= rienced such quiet places in the mountains of the Canary Islands.
