The news from Raimund Specht about the excellent performance of the Tascam =
DR-680 preamp is shocking! Wonderful news, but shocking nonetheless. I ex=
pected that the DR-680 would use the pre's from the DR-100 (mediocre at bes=
t), not the stellar HD-P2.
Given this news, I think it's worth re-posting specifications for the DR-68=
