Yep, the same would also apply for the low-cut filter, which should help to reject loud low-frequency rumble that would otherwise cause heavy clipping if the filter was located behind the ADC. The low-cut and limiter settings of the DR-680 are selected from the menu. This is different from the HD-P2 that has physical switches for these items. I therefore believe that both the limiter and low-cut filter are still analog circuits, but digitally controlled by the microcontroller of the DR-680 Raimund |
