Nope.  It's all hearsay to me.  I've never had the opportunity
to see or use any MKH mic.

I do note that the 80/800 are dual diaphragm, multi-pattern mics
while the MKH-8000 series is single pattern single diaphragm.

And I was just looking at the specs to see if they have pads and/
or low-cut switches and noticed that the 8020 is super-cardioid
at 32 KHz!  Aim at the bats!
