No, I just noticed this new product
and thought people would be interested
to hear about it.

Back to the UltraSoundGate: So far as I
am aware, there is no other commercially-
available field-worthy device that permits
you to record on-site at 24/128 sampling rate.
I think anyone interested in experimenting
with recording at higher sampling rates
will be interested.

Exploring the Avisys web site a little more,
I'm also impressed with the field-worthy
multi-track sound acquisition kit.  I
bet some of the readers of this newsgroup
could find a use for a portable 4 channel
setup that will record for days, and turn
itself on and off based on environmental
conditions (say, when it starts to rain).
Perhaps at a Lyrebird lek?
