Hey all, Back from a quick pair of trips, and I wanted to thank everyone who had advice on my question about Earthworks mics. I come away with confirmation that the only thing to do is find an opportunity to listen to some of the recommended alternatives (MKH-20s... dpa 4006s(!)...) in true field conditions ~ hopefully I won't keep conflicting with Nature Sound Society workshops and might get to do exactly this! Best, aaron PS incidentally the timing of my last question was not unrelated to a pair of matched TC40Ks on eBay that ended up going for ~$850... which seems like a good deal for the winner! http://www.quietamerican.org ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
