And note you generally want to aim them as they are probably directional at some frequencies. This is considered particularly good for things that have lots of low frequencies, like pipe organs. Put omni's into a SASS, a la your MKH20 SASS. You can also do MS with a omni and a figure 8, the pattern comes out like two cardioids at 180 degrees to each other. Probably others.
