Edwin Vella said "We should try a kill off any old fashioned ideas to do with bird watching". Well today a photographer from the local paper came to take some pictures in relation to our Swift Parrot visitation. The idea was that the photo would combine myself (as well known local idealist or trouble maker according to your point of view) with Ian Parsons and his video of the birds. (These new video cams are amazing - 40x magnification and recording plumage, behaviour and calls all in one hit). >From what she took next week's paper may have something that looks like two aging gays sharing an interest in books and new technology. Ah well, it's one way of getting rid of old fashioned ideas.
