Hi Hugo,

With all respect for the many good reasons behind the publicity you told us
BA has recently engaged in (threatened species appeal), I don't quite think
this is going to bring about a huge change in the type of audience you're
getting. You already mentioned yourself, you are reaching more people but
it's a very slow process, and I'm afraid it will reverse as soon as your
current programs efforts cease.
I've said it before and say it again, what we need is someone, a character
that people can identify with who appears on popular tv shows to do basic
stuff on backyard birds. History has shown that this will start the ball
rolling of getting the wider community more interested in birds.
Any thoughts?
