Hi

I am still working on this problem. If I try to esablish a connection
over ftp I get the message:

530 login incorrect
Login failed

@Richard: I had look at the link you provided.

red_dungeon says:

"add

pam_service_name=vsftpd

to your /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf

and restart your ftp server"

On the file system from TS I can not find the vsftpd directory.

If I create a connection with the ftp-server over telnet I see that

ts7000 FTP server (Version wu-2.56.2(1) is installed.

So it seems that wu-ftpd is installed. I searched for ftpaccess and
found it, tried to modify a line now I get the message

"Could not open file for writing: Permissions denied"

Ok, I read that I have to loging as "root" but this is not possible
using telnet from remote.

Please, does anybody have an idea or is there at least a usable
tutorial available how to manage this problem step by step from
startup?

Best regards and thanks

Geri
Now I spent a lot of time for collecting all the information and
doing some easy things for starting up programming. My target goal,
and it is really frustrating...
