Hello Alex and Martin

Thank you very much for the hints!

OK, I am new in Linux and spent at least twr days for setting up my
TS-7300 board or let me say my MS-Windows PC to do reasonable cross
development using Eclipse including remote debugging. During that I
did a lot of search in google regarding linux stuff:)

Now telnet is working. For that I set up a user group, a user name
and a password:)

But this procedure seems not to work for ftp or ssh. Ssh server is
default probably not running but trying to login the ftp-server, it
rejects my password.

Do you have an idea? Maybe these questions are easy for some of you
but im am working on to get the total context:)

Another point:
a.) What method of file sharing are you using or do you prefer for
remote development? b.) Do you only upload the code to the board or
are you using nfs or something else? c.) If you use e.g. nfs, how are
you managing file sharing because if have sometimes troubles if the
TS-Board and the PC access the same files?

Best regards

Gerhard
