I've got too much old gear stashed away in room over the garage - I get
periodic hassle from my wife.

My project uses a very small unit - 60 watts max in a gale. But it does
the job, provides light and (limited) power etc. But I'm wanting to do
something bigger for the house using wind and PV.

The reason I got into it, though, was that with the Technologics boards I
got a fully functional unix/linux environment, at a very reasonable price
- no way like early PCs :-)
cheers and good luck with debricking the board. I've a ts7200 and have
not messed with reflashing onboard flash kernel etc for exactly that
reason.
