Of course the simplest of all is to just open a terminal on the TS7xxx with ssh or telnet, and then run your program that reads the values every 5 seconds and prints them to standart out.

On the TS7200 side, build or install netcat. Then use nc to send the
data to the application on the PC side.

If your PC is running linux, then either run netcat on the port full
time, or simply run a script like "cat - >> /tmp/data.log" via inetd
on the appropriate port.
