Thanks for the information. I'm waiting on the mail for a second TS-7260 and
other bits to de-brick my first one. Seems the kernel that was posted online
to access the SD card didn't like 64M vs. 32M. The learning curve can be fun.
I will look more closely at the code once I've a working machine back in
operation.
I looked at your site and found some references to S100. Unfortunately some of
these links are no longer working it seems. I still have an S100 in storage
with various cards, bits and parts. Couldn't bear to part with the thing.
Custom mahogany cabinet and all. ;-) Thanks for the reminder. I spent many
happy hours learning, building, coding and even swearing at some of that
early gear.
The project that's brought me to the TS-7260 is a remote communications site
and the need for monitoring power levels etc. The wind power unit I plan to
use was designed and tested in Scotland. I noted your garden shed power
project on my tour of your site.
In some ways the embedded computers are a very similar experience to the first
personal computers.
