Shotgun microphone recommendations or used mic for sale

Hi,

I'd like to buy a shotgun microphone to get set up for nature recording. I
have a Tascam DR-05 recorder. I am primarily interested in recording birds
but also want to record mammals, and to be able to conduct interviews. I
have a limited budget, so something used would be preferable. What do you
all recommend?

I spend a lot of time in the field, and I've wanted to start recording for
years. When I heard a handful of bird vocalizations this summer which
hadn't been uploaded to xeno-canto, I realized that now is the time. It
would be very useful to always have a recording setup in my pack for such
situations.

Thanks for your help,
Dan
