I have a heavy system (MKH mics, Sound Devices recorder) and a light system=
(Telinga Clip-Ons, Zoom H2 recorder) that both make great recordings. I pr=
efer the heavy system because of the 10-second pre-record buffer, start tim=
er, the ability to tweak individual mic gains, better metering, and much mo=
re convenient monitoring (listen to each mic separately while recording). I=
use the light system when I'm hiking in.
