Thanks.  Also a battery leaked in my K6 unit so that wont have helped. My M=
arantz PMD660 also died recently so I need to re-equipe myself in a major w=
ay now. Was thinking of a sound devices unit if I can fund it, but am worri=
ed about its battery use.  The new Marantz also looks good.  Also thinking =
of a rhode mic which looks great but is much cheaper than a senn MKH mic. P=
lus all the Rycote muffling gear.
