Sure thing Neil,

The rig is 5.5" at its widest point. The surfaces that contain the mics are 
1.5" wide and 2.5" tall. The front face where the nose piece connects is 
2.5"square. Shape the nose piece to taste. I suspect closed-cell foam might 
perform better than solid wood.
