Dan, I agree that this could be likely, in many cases. In my incident, I di=
dn't start out with any fear or scared thoughts, to begin with. I often wal=
k around the forest roads at night, and have been startled by many things, =
but never had that feeling of being watched and paced, or that I couldn't w=
alk, and move on any further down the road (very heavy legs). I have consid=
ered that it very well could have been my own fear, that got the best of me=
.
Similar incidents have also been reported, with people that hiked into area=
s during the daytime. I have no good explanation for this, other than...wha=
t I don't really know about, I'm going to keep an open mind to.
