You will save steps if you purchase a device that converts audio to digital= and then feeds that into your computer via USB or firewire such as M-Audio= Fast Track Pro. This way all is completed in one step. An external device = is preferable to an internal card because the electronic environment of the= computer also can add noise to the analog signal. There are a large number= of such devices at many price points. The best bet is to go to a music sto= re, shop and compare. All modern devices will digitize at rates much greate= r than the background noise of your cassettes. |
