I remember investigation into an earlier generation of equipment that
seemed to be always resampling the digital input, even when the
incoming signal had the same format as the recording, are you aware of
anyone who tests those things?

Idle curiosity for me, since I (still) don't have a optimod Lunatec V3 ;)..=
