Have you contactede Rode support? They have repaired my NT3s several
times, for free, no questions asked. Thye would gte noisy with either
rumbling or crackling sounds. Once one made noises for me, but when I
sent it in it was fine and has ben fine ever since...
At least inquire! They are very good abotou taking care of the gear
and the customers.
